London Trip

On Tuesday this week we finally made it all the way to London for our long awaited trip to see King Tut!

After a fun journey on a very comfy coach (we even got to watch some movies!) we arrived at The British Museum and spent the morning exploring all the amazing Egyptian artefacts on display. We even got the see the world famous Rosetta Stone!

We then had lunch in the Great Court before taking another short coach journey across London to the Saatchi Gallery. On our journey we saw lots of famous sight including Big Ben, Downing Street and Nelsons Column!

At the Saatchi Gallery we experienced a very special exhibition of many artefacts found in King Tut’s burial chamber, some of which had never been out of Egypt before!

We even got to see the real Tutankhamen…..what an amazing experience!

Check out our photos to see more of what we got up to!

Well! What a buzz this trip has created…the pupils and staff all had the most amazing day! They all returned exhausted and I am sure the weekend is offering some welcome recovery rest!
What was your favourite part year 5?
